The Full Story

If you've been around SensoryEdge for a while, you know the Dizzy Disc. It's the colorful spinning platform that kids absolutely cannot resist - and that parents, teachers, and therapists keep coming back to because it actually works. Vestibular input, core strength, balance, coordination, pure joy. All in one toy that requires no batteries, no setup, and no convincing.

It's been away for a bit. Now it's back. And we couldn't be happier to have it home.

Why Kids (and Adults) Love It

The Dizzy Disc is one of those rare products that needs zero explanation to a child. You set it down and they climb on. They spin. They laugh. They spin more. What's happening underneath all that joy, though, is genuinely valuable - the vestibular system is getting a serious workout, the core is activating to hold position through rotation, and spatial awareness is developing with every turn.

Children who crave movement, who seem to have an endless need to spin or swing or crash, often have a vestibular system that's hungry for input. The Dizzy Disc feeds that hunger in a safe, focused, endlessly repeatable way. It doesn't just entertain. It helps.

One Toy. Endless Ways to Use It.

What sets the Dizzy Disc apart from a standard spin disc is how much it can do. The base angle is adjustable - flat for beginners, tilted for a bigger challenge - and children can sit, kneel, lie face down, or stretch out like an airplane. Each position recruits different muscles and delivers a different therapeutic experience. It's not one trick. It's a whole toolkit.

Children who crave spinning finally have something that spins with them - and works for them at the same time.

šŸŒ€
Adjustable Angle
Set the base flat for gentle input or increase the tilt to build in a gravitational challenge. Grows with the child across months and years of use.
šŸ’Ŗ
150 lb Capacity
Most spin toys max out well below 100 lbs. The Dizzy Disc stays useful from toddlerhood through the early teen years without aging out.
šŸ
Indoor or Outdoor
Built-in carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, take outside, or bring to wherever the session is happening today.

Who It's For

Therapy Clinics
OTs and PTs have long used the Dizzy Disc for vestibular processing, core strengthening, and sensory regulation work. Multiple positions and angle settings make it versatile across a full client caseload.
Parents of Sensory Kids
If your child craves spinning, seeks out movement constantly, or has trouble regulating - this is the tool their body is asking for. It channels that energy productively and safely.
Schools & Classrooms
A sensory corner with a Dizzy Disc gives movement-seeking children a structured outlet that supports focus and self-regulation rather than competing with it.
Any Kid Who Loves to Move
You don't need a diagnosis to love the Dizzy Disc. Active kids, curious kids, adventurous kids - they all find something irresistible about climbing on and letting it spin.

Built to Last

The Dizzy Disc is not a toy that ends up in a closet after three months. The construction is solid - durable plastic, a textured top surface that holds grip across positions, and a base designed for repeated daily use. It ships ready to use right out of the box. No assembly. No tools. Just set it down and go.

At SensoryEdge we've always chosen products that earn their place - in a therapy room, a classroom, or a living room. The Dizzy Disc is one of those rare products that has earned it everywhere it's ever been placed. We're glad to have it back.
