Natural Channels and Stands

Description

The Natural Channels and Stands gives children two wooden channels, each resting on its own stand, to investigate how water moves. Poured in at the top, water runs down the angled channel to the ground, and having two channels side by side lets children compare speed, flow, and angle between them directly rather than testing one channel at a time.

Because the stands and channels are separate pieces, children can experiment with different angles and setups rather than working with one fixed arrangement. It works well as a standalone investigation station on grass or a hard surface, or alongside other PIP collection water and discovery pieces.
