The Sleep Tight Weighted Blanket is designed to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. The added weight helps calm anxious bodies. Intentionally designed to be smaller than a regular blanket, the size most effectively distributes the weight on the body instead of on the bed.

The Sleep Tight design has a curved cut out portion at the top of the blanket. This innovative design allows the blanket to contour around the shoulders and under the chin for a great fit and maximum comfort (Never place the blanket over the face).
Made of a soft corduroy fabric to further encourage calming down for sleep, unlike other weighted products worn during the day that have wearing time limitations.
The Sleep Tight can be worn all night or maybe taken off after the person has fallen asleep. As the blanket provides additional insulation, you will want to keep your room at a temperature that prevents the wearer from overheating.
The Sleep Tight weighted blanket can be effective with people who have the following diagnoses and difficulties: General stress, Anxiety, Sleep difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Dysfunction and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Filled with a non-toxic and hypoallergenic PET pellet material which is BPA and phthalate-free. The pellets are sewn into a 100% cotton bag that is inserted in each chamber to prevent the pellets from escaping!
Each blanket is double stitched around the outside and then twice on the bottom hem.
Washing/Drying Instructions: You may machine wash your Sleep Tight and you may dry it in the dryer on low heat or on a drying rack.
Please check your washer and dryer instructions for weight recommendations. It may be better to wash these in a commercial washer and dryer.

About SommerflySommerfly Products began with the mixing of ideas and passions of two sisters, Kristi Langslet and Heidi Langslet-Hall, who wanted to start their own business. Not just a small company that could provide for them, but one that could deliver well constructed, non-medicine based products that would truly improve the lives of those in need. It all started when co-founder Kristi Langslet, a practicing Occupational Therapist, began designing and making products for her clients to meet specific needs related to Sensory Processing. Sleep, calm and focus were some of the primary challenges of her clients in the Sensory-Based Therapy Clinic in which she worked. As more and more positive feedback came in it became very clear what Kristi had created worked and worked well. This didn't happen by pure luck but rather through countless hours of design and function testing directly with her patients. Kristi and Heidi were insistent that their products not only had to work well but also be of a quality that would benefit their customers in masses for many years to come. Through testing their products with many different people and age groups, the results proved-out that they had truly hit their mark of "Calm, Sleep and Focus for All". It was this hard work and persistence that created the Sommerfly's™ brand and allowed their dream to come to reality. Who we are: Kristi Langslet,OTR/L received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 1988. She did her NDT Training (Neuro-Developmental Training) in 1999 and received her SIPT Certification (Sensory Integration and Praxis Certification) in 2002. Following another of her passions, Kristi received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sculpture from The Rhode Island School of Design in 2006. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 25 years helping children and adolescents. Backorders - It is our policy to charge your credit card at the time of purchase. We do this to reserve your order with the manufacturer. If we hold your order without charging until the item cones back in stock, orders already sent to the manufacturer have priority and your order will be in the back of the line. If you prefer, we're happy to issue a refund until the item comes back in stock.
For items damaged during shipping, contact us immediately for further instructions. To process the exchange or a return on damaged items you MUST keep the original box and all packaging.
You will need to email us pictures of the damages to help you with the replacement or refund. SensoryEdge will assume the return shipping charges for defective products.
As with all returns please e-mail us at help @sensoryedge.com to receive authorization or simply refuse the shipment if the damage is evident at time of delivery and let us know so we can track the return.
At times, if only part of the item is damaged replacement parts will be sent to solve the problem. This will make it much easier for you since you will not have to repack the damaged product or wait for a pick-up.
