      1. The Sun is so huge that more than one million Earths could fit inside it! It's a giant ball of hot gas that provides light and heat for our planet.

      2. There are eight planets in our solar system, and Earth is one of them. The other planets are Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

      3. The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite. It orbits around our planet and takes about 27 days to complete one orbit. It's also the reason we have tides in our oceans.

      4. Astronauts have special suits called spacesuits that protect them when they go on spacewalks. These suits keep them safe in the harsh conditions of outer space.

      5. The International Space Station (ISS) is a giant laboratory that orbits around the Earth. Astronauts from different countries live and work there, conducting experiments and learning more about space.

      6. The Milky Way is our home galaxy. It's a spiral-shaped galaxy that contains billions of stars, including our Sun. It's called the Milky Way because it looks like a milky band of light in the night sky.

      7. Shooting stars, also known as meteors, are not actually stars. They are tiny pieces of rock or dust that burn up in Earth's atmosphere, creating bright streaks of light.

      8. Some astronauts have walked on the Moon! The Apollo missions in the 1960s and 1970s allowed humans to step foot on the lunar surface for the first time. They brought back rocks and conducted experiments.

      9. Saturn, one of the planets in our solar system, has beautiful rings made of ice and rock particles. These rings can be seen from Earth with a telescope.

      10. There are black holes in space, which are areas with extremely strong gravity. They are formed when massive stars collapse under their own weight. Black holes are so strong that not even light can escape from them!
