As a further precaution, we also test to insure compliance with the Mechanical and Physical requirements of ASTM F963-96a Standard Consumer Safety Specifications on Toy Safety of USA. To further establish Pacific Play Tents as the safest and finest quality play tents and tunnels on the market, we also test the "Tensile Strength" of the materials we use (ASTM D5034-95) and “Tear Strength” (ASTM D1424). In addition to the lead testing, we also test for supplementary chemicals such as Cadmium, Mercury and Hexavalent Chromium content in all packaging and printing materials, which comply with EC 94/62.
