The Disc 'o' Sit Jr. Air Cushion by Gymnic is an inflatable dynamic seat cushion that mimics both the movement and shape of a Gymnic exercise ball. The dynamic movement of the seat cushion makes any seat act like a ball chair. One side of Disc o Sit Jr. is smooth and the other side is bumby so you can vary the texture. Or you can just choose the side that works best for you - the side that gives you the type of sensory input that is needed.

Dynamic seat cushions are great for kids who have trouble sitting still or have difficulty with their hips or posture. In particular, kids with ADHD, Autism, Aspersers and/or Sensory Integration Dysfunction benefit from the constant (but subtle) motion.

The Disc o Sit Jr. can also be used on the floor for balance training, and strengthening of the lower extremities. The more it is inflated the more it moves. It can be inflated by mouth so no pump is needed.

My kindergartener son was having difficulty sitting still in class or at circle time. The disc allows him to wiggle and move "appropriately." Recently used it under him on a 4 hour drive - was FABULOUS! I'm taking it with me on a long airplane ride in a few weeks. I haven't tried it as a flotation device yet but I think we'll take it swimming soon. I thought it was pricy... but it's worth every penny.
